Since October 7th, 2023, antisemitism has been on the rise all over college campuses in the United States. At the University of Maryland, there have been many antisemitic instances. One student's flag of Israel was flushed down the toilet. One student's door was defaced with calling Jews explicit names. Many parts of campus have been chalked with explicit sayings and callings for a 'Holocaust 2.0.' Many posters of Israeli hostages have been torn down and ripped up. One Israel-related event was disrupted by students holding up 'bloody' hands, referencing the emasculation of Jews who were taken hostage and ripped to pieces by bare hands.  These are only A FEW of the terrible, antisemitic incidents that Jewish students on Maryland's campus face.
